Peninsula Special Interest Lions Club and Lions Club International

The Peninsula Special Interest Lions Club was founded by Eleanor Lindquist-Britter and her husband, Bill Britter. The club has over half of its members in the medical profession, with its primary focus on health care initiatives in partnership with schools, senior centers, and local communities.

Dr. Oz was inducted as a chartered member in 2012. "I'm able to roar with pride," says Dr. Oz.

Lions Club International is the World’s Largest Service Club Organization with 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million global members.
